1999 City of Durham, NC Citizen Survey

This telephone survey of Durham, NC residents was designed to gather citizen feedback in three primary areas: perception of public safety and quality of life issues, satisfaction with current City of Durham Services, and prioritization of issues which the city government should address to improve municipal services and the overall quality of life in the city. This information was intended to provide a baseline understanding of the current status of citizen satisfaction and to guide efforts to improve upon these various areas in the future. The SRU played a key role in sample design and instrument design and led the data collection effort. Using an RDD Sample of phone numbers, SRU interviews conducted CATI interviews with 400 Durham residents, clean and weighted the data, and prepared a final methodology report.
