Deborah Marean

Deborah Marean is the CATI Programmer for the Carolina Survey Research Laboratory. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and has a B.A. from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia. She has been with the CSRL since 1997, starting as an Interviewer, and advanced into the position of Calling Room Supervisor in 1999. During this time, she was involved with implementing and managing telephone surveys in the calling room, in addition to assisting with questionnaire design and CATI programming for various other CSRL projects. In 2002, she began to pursue an A.A.S. in Computer Programming from Durham Technical Community College, while continuing to work part-time with the CSRL as an Interviewer. She resumed full-time employment as the CATI Programmer for the CSRL in March of 2005, and completed her Programming degree in May of 2006.
