Donglin Zeng, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Co-Director of the CSRL. A fellow of the American Statistical Association and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, Dr. Zeng methodological research primarily focuses on semiparametric models and high-dimensional data arising from a variety of statistical or biostatistical areas, including event time data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, clinical trials, high-dimensional data, and medical diagnostics etc. His contributions also includes developing sample size/power calculation for case-cohort studies with both rare and non-rare diseases, developing efficient computing algorithms for transformation models, and developing efficient sampling approaches for non-smooth estimating functions. Dr. Zeng has collaborated with clinical investigators from various disease areas including radiology, HIV, cancer and genetic epidemiology. He has also provided statistical consultations to statistical research units in leading pharmaceutical companies as well as statistical software developers. With his strong commitment to public health research, he has successfully applied his expertise in statistical theory and methodology to addressing many important clinical questions.
