National Amateur Baseball Injury Surveillance Program

The primary goal of this 4 year study was to collect, at a national level, age group amateur baseball injury data in order to recommend preventive measures, rule changes, equipment changes and coaching techniques that should be implemented for safety and to monitor incidence of injury in amateur baseball. SRU's role within this study was to assist in sample design and selection; compute sample weights; conduct analysis of data; and provide statistical support during data collection.
