Breast/Cervical Cancer Control Program–Supplemental Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Project

This study served as a pilot phase for a larger study to evaluate current primary and secondary prevention practices and rehabilitation therapy for breast cancer among women veterans in the US. Its purpose was also to evaluate the feasibility of sampling for and carrying out such an effort in a scientifically sound manner. For the SRU, this study involved tracking approximately 400 women veterans and administering a questionnaire to them.
