State of Home Safety in America

This random-digit dialing (RDD) survey of 1,000 U.S. households was designed to assess the risk of injury due to accidental causes, such as fires, falls, and poisonings, in the home and to inform efforts to develop interventions to prevent these accidental injuries. The major SRU tasks for this project included questionnaire design consultation, sample selection, telephone data collection, and preparation of a final SAS dataset for analysis by UNC Injury Prevention Research Center staff.
