Conference Board of the Mathematical Sciences Survey

A mail survey, funded by the Conference Board of Mathematical Sciences (CBMS), was conducted in 2000 in order to provide estimates of fall enrollment in undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses in a stratified, simple random sample design among two and four year colleges and universities in the United States. The SRU was directly involved in sample design, questionnaire design, data collection, weights, and data analysis.

This survey was conducted again in 2005. Again, it provided estimates of fall enrollment and course offerings in undergraduate mathematics and statistics course for two and four year colleges and universities in the United States. As in 2000, the SRU worked on sample design, questionnaire design, data collection, weights, and statistical analysis.
