Project Management

All projects at the CSCC have a project manager or project director with a master’s degree in biostatistics or epidemiology as well as training and experience in project management. Project managers use an adaptive Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodology throughout the five phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing) of the project lifecycle. Project managers integrate scope, time, cost, quality, risk and communication management into the execution of the work. The center also uses a comprehensive set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, efficient and high-quality research.
