Posters provide an opportunity to share one's research and engage in face-to-face conversations and to receive immediate feedback, which often cannot occur within the time constraints of a talk. They also allow an author to display extensive graphic or tabular materials alongside a brief textual summary of their work.

The poster session will take place on November 1, 2012 from 4:30-6:30 pm. The standard size of a scientific poster is 4 x 8 feet. Posters need to be related to the theme of the conference: Clinical Trials in the Era of Personalized Medicine. Posters will be on display for the duration of the session, and poster authors must remain in the vicinity to present their posters and answer questions. Posters will need to be set up by 4:00 pm.

Authors interested in presenting a poster must submit their abstracts to Betsy Seagroves (bseagrov@bios.unc.edu) by October 15, 2012. Acceptance decisions will be given within one week of the date of submission. Those that are submitted earlier, will receive decisions sooner.
